Josiah

We had to take Josiah to the doctor today because he was running a fever of 103 with med!:-( He has an ear infection and is just pitiful. He just turned 1 on Dec.11 and this was the first time he has been back to see our ped since he was 2 weeks, so I guess he has done pretty well. You can tell he has no clue what is going on though, breaks my heart. Pray for our little guy and the rest of the family. I don't want them getting this virus also.

Josiah

Josiah is our big 1Year old. He is growing up way too fast.

He just turned 1 on December 11th.
Here is Anna Grace with Josiah. She is our chief "cheek pincher," much to Josiah's discomfort. How could you not pinch those cheeks though?

The First Post

Well I did it! Joli and I have been saying for a few years now that we needed to start our own blog. Well I guess it took a night where I couldn't go to sleep to start the whole process.

I guess the title may be a little perplexing but it comes out of Psalm 103:14 where it says "For He knows our frame, He remembers we are dust" A little strange you may think to name a blog but it has some meaning to me. Here goes:

There is so much in life that we put so much weight into, things that "Have" to get done and many things that we want to control. We put so much time, effort and worry into making sure things happen the way we want. So many times we become anxious because we feel we may lack control. It is exactly here that we need to stop and remember that God is bigger than any situation that we will ever face. Romans 8:38-39 says "For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor power, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord" We worry about God hearing our prayers or meeting a specific need and forget that He is in control. He knows what we need, He knows our Frame!!

The second part of that verse, "He remembers we are dust" is important as it is following verse 13 that says that "As a father has compassion towards his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him" "For He knows our frame, He remembers we are dust". God has compassion on those who fear Him. Those who put their trust in Him. He knows our weaknesses and He knows our desires.

Always hope in God, for He knows our Frame! Nothing can seperate those who are His!
