Thankful

3Jn 1:4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.

I am  thankful for so many things this Thanksgiving week. The #1 being my salvation!! Jesus has set me free. Sean and I pray for the salvation of each of our nine children. This is the desire of our hearts more than anything else. Yes, we want to be the best parents a kid could have but how do we go about that? I am learning ever so slowly lately that we can only be good parents by loving our Lord and walking with Him. If our children see any hypocrisy they will run the other way. Do they see the same mom/dad out in public as they see at home? Do they see us on our faces seeking the Lord? What about humility when we mess up, which will happen?  I have observed lately how children act just like their parents. When we see a character flaw in one of our children, we can pretty much know it originated from one of us. I am so thankful that God  has begun a work in me and will continue to do so.  I pray God would give me a heart to teach my children diligently about Him!!
Ok, more things that I am thankful for.
A Godly husband who loves me unconditionally
A church body who loves the Lord and each other
My childen's health. Some of our children have a genetic disorder but they are all doing great now.
My brother, who we thought would not be here a few years ago. He also has a serious genetic disorder.
My sister, who is my best friend in the world
That I can homeschool my kids
A pastor who loves his flock
Food in the pantry and the fridge
My coffee:-)
Friends who encourage me in my walk with the Lord
Little giggles that are always found at our house:-)

I pray that God would give me a thankful heart this week and every week. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving everyone!

9 Months

Eden Joy is 9 months already. She is crawling and pulling up on everything. She has us all wrapped around her little finger.

I hope all of you are having a wonderful time planning your Thanksgiving day plans. I have so many cool things that I would love to do as far as decorations go but I just don't seem to have the time to do it. That's ok though. The food and fellowship as well as being thankful is what matters, right? Eden is sick today with the croup so I need to run go rock my sweet, little baby. Hopefully she will be better by next week.

Praying

They say a family that prays together stays together. We always have a time of prayer for the person celebrating a birthday at our home. We made it a tradition years ago. We pray as a family daily, but this is a special time of just prayer for the one. Here is Anna Grace getting bathed with prayer. I had to get up to turn the ringing phone off and had to capture the moment:-)

 Have a blessed weekend,

Farah Beth

This little girl is my sidekick around here. She loves to follow me wherever I go.  Farah Beth helps me do laundry, cook, play with the babies, and clean. Every morning she crawls in the bed with us to "nuggle puggle." I love every minute of it. Three is such a sweet age. She is so mature one day and so "baby" the next. God has given each one of our children a different personality. I love it that way but it can make it hard to figure each one out and not just lump them all in one. I love her spunky, witty, affectionate little self:-) I am so grateful to God for blessing us with Farah Elisabeth. We couldn't imagine our world without her.

Love on those little ones and enjoy them while you can " nuggle" with them because before you know it they will be bigger than you:-)

Happy Birthday Anna Grace

Anna Grace is our fifth child and second daughter. Sean Peyton prayed really hard for a little sister and God answered her prayers. We are so in love with this sweet, beautiful little girl. Gracie is our spunky, sweet, serious, affectionate, carefree, loving, giddy, beautiful girlie. I cannot believe she is 8! She seems like she has always been older than what she is. She is mature, maybe from having Peyton as an older sister.
My Anna Banana, always keep that big, dimpled smile on your face, it is contagious to others. Be a servant always and find joy in it. Remember to always make knowing Jesus your top priority in life. Nothing is more important than that. And I cannot believe I am saying this, but always be your daddy's girl:-)  Mom

My Sweet Gracie, my heart is so full thinking of how precious you are to me.  Eight years ago you grabbed hold of my heart and have held onto it with all of your might.  I am so blessed for that and love the fact that you are "my girl".  You were prayed for and God answered us with a wonderful gift.  My Giggi, give your heart to Jesus and follow after Him hard all of your days.  We love you and look forward to many more years with you!  Dardi :)
