Picture Post

I take so many pictures of Eden. She is always on my hip lately and just growing way too fast. I want to capture every new thing she does.

Library

We went to the library downtown Saturday to get some books for this week. Our children love the library and they love to read. Even little Eden at eight months old loves to look at books. It really is never too early to start reading to your children.

Our desire is to teach our children to read early so they can read God's word, which is the most important thing we can teach them to do.

I am teaching two to read  this year, which is my favorite part of homeschooling. I love the one on one time that it requires. I let Treasure pick her own books to bring home.

Farah Elisabeth and Josiah had a blast playing with the stuffed animals and the blocks.

Hopefully we can return our books and movies on time next week:-) It's pretty bad when you have to budget late fees to the library into your monthly bills! Go read to your kids today. It is so worth it:-)

Starbucks and a Princess

Is there anything more delightful than a hot cup of Starbucks' coffee and a beautiful little Princess in your hands on a gorgeous afternoon? I don't think so.

A Day with Horses

The girls wanted to go ride horses for their birthdays. They had an awesome time! I on the other hand, got really sick. I am so allergic to horses, but it was so worth it. I think it may be a while before we go back, or at least until they can do their own laundry after riding:-)

The horses kept trying to eat the children's hats! Farah Beth thought that was so funny so she kept offering them a taste:-)

Eden was so good the whole time. She just loves to be outdoors.

I think we may just have some  horse farm owners in the future:-)

Happy Birthday

Sean Peyton is 13 today!!! Where has the time gone? It seems like just yesterday she was born. I remember her birth so clearly. Sean and I were so young and so excited to be having a little girl to add to our family. Hunter had prayed for a sister and God answered his prayer. We named her Sean Peyton after her daddy. She had the most beautiful, thick, long black hair I have ever seen on a baby. God sure did bless us with you Pey! I knew you were so smart and special when you quoted "honor your father and mother, for the Lord your God has commanded you" to Hunter one day when he was not being very obedient. You were only 14 months old. God has given you a gift for memorizing His word. We pray that you would always hide His word in your heart.

                                                              Five years old here

                                                            Always a big helper

  Ten things about Sean Peyton
1. She is so meek and quiet
2. She can also be strong as nails and has been known to take her brothers:-)
3. She is very competitive at everything she does
4. She can bake so many things that taste awesome
5. She loves the outdoors. Camping, hiking, hunting, walking through the woods, etc.
6. She has too many favorite colors to name just one
7. Her favorite foods are homemade mashed potatoes and"Thanksgiving" meal
8. She is a very clean and organized person. You could eat off of her bedroom floor.
9. She is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the out
10. And the most important, she loves the Lord!!!

We love you so much Peyton! I pray that you would continue to seek the Lord with all of your heart. Let your goal in life be to know Jesus and to tell others about Him. You sure are a blessing to our family.

Birthday

Six years ago God gave us a beautiful little girl. We named her Treasure Suzanne because she is just that, a treasure to us. Treasure is our sixth child. Alot of people thought we were crazy to want another child, but we knew God had a plan for this child's life. We are so thankful to our Lord for giving us another year with our precious little girl.
Ten things about Treasure:
1. She is so meek and terribly sweet
2.You can win her heart by her stomach (sweets)
3. She has the cutest little voice a girlie could have
4. She is very tiny. Only 35 lbs now
5. She is the only blonde girl in the family
6. She loves to play dress up and "lives in another world"
7. She loves the color pink
8. She is a daddy's girl
9. She never complains about anything
10. She is so couragous and will do anything she sees her brothers doing

We love our beautiful little Treasure! Thank you Lord for her life. I pray that we will teach her to seek You and to find You.

But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.

And I love taking pictures of my babies:-)

Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward.

Eden Joy

001
Where  does the time go? Eden is already eight months old.
002
She is starting to sit up and roll around everywhere:-) She was 5 weeks early, so she is a little behind but that is alright with me.

015
She is so spoiled! Here she is taking a nap on our front porch swing:-) She does not like her crib during the day:-)
008
She sure does bring our family so much joy. Her name fits her well. Now can we just slow time down a bit. She is growing way too fast.
1.48 027
We love her WILD hair! It really does not fit her personality at all though. She is so quiet and meek unless she is not being held. I know all of you moms are thinking that I just must be spoiling her and need to train her to sleep and to be put down. Well, if I took my own advice I would:-) It is just so hard to put her cute little face down!

I pray that God will use this precious little girl to bring Him glory. I pray that she will grow up to love Jesus with all of her heart. I pray that she will give her life up to Him for His glory! Thank you God for giving us this beautiful gift. May we always teach her about Jesus and point her to the one and only!! We love you little Itty Bitty.
One joyful momma
