Tea Plantation

Last week we decided to take the kids on a field trip to the Charleston Tea Plantation. We have started drinking lots of green tea around here, so we thought it would be a neat experience. The children were served tea when we first arrived. They were walking around the gift shop with their little cups of English Breakfast tea:) They thought they were so special and so grown. It was a beautiful day to enjoy the tea gardens and to just pick little flowers. Now all of my children can tell you how tea is made and how to brew and serve some:)

  1. Beautiful pictures. What a cool field trip to make a great connection to what you all are doing at home...you go, super teacher! I really love the picture of Farah Beth...she has a tiny flower behind her ear. So cute! Also, I want that dress that Eden Joy has one!

  2. I love all the pics of the kids holding the flowering Henbit. It is such a pretty edible weed.
I would love to go on this tea plantation tour, too!
